Coupon Lingo

AC/BC – after/before coupons

AR – After Rebate

BLINKIES – coupon dispensed near product, usually from red blinking box

BOGO – Buy one, get one (FREE)

BTW – By the way

CAT or Catalina – coupon dispensed at register after purchase

ECB – extra care bucks – These are from CVS.

EQ – internet coupon – loadable to a store card

ESR – EasySaver Rebate (Walgreens Monthly Rebate)

HBA – health and beauty aid

HCW – Hot Coupon World – a chat forum with people discussing deals – works out so you can plan your attack ahead of time.

IMO – In My Opinion

IP – internet printable coupon

ISO – In Search Of

IVC – Walgreen’s Instant Value Coupon (Found in the monthy EasySaver Catalog)

MIR – Mail In Rebate

MQ – manufacturer coupon

OOP – Out of Pocket

OYNO – On your next order

P&G = Proctor & Gamble Sunday supplement coupons

PEELIE – coupon that you peel off the package.

PM – Private Message

POP – Proof of purchase

Q – Coupon

RC – Raincheck

RP – Red Plum Coupons

RR – Register Rewards – Walgreen’s “store credits” that you get by purchasing certain items.

SS – Smart Source coupon insert

STACKING – Using more than one Q per item. Different stores allow different things in regards to this. Examples include (not limited to): Using a store Q and a manufacturer Q together OR using a Buy One, Get One FREE Q with a $1.00 off Q

TEAR PAD – A pad of refund forms or coupons found hanging from a store shelf or display

WYB – When You Buy…
